right then, I took the Almera badge off no problem, all was good but if I now remove the Nissan badges, what will I be left with?

I'm guessing there are holes or something under them? am I right?

Not sure how they're fitted as I haven't got round to doing mine yet, but if there's holes, you'll need to fill them, smooth them and spray over with paint to cover them up.

if there are holes, I'll leave the badges on!

or replace with a dragon badge as I did my Astra Cabbie... then again the Almera doesn't really have the dragon image lol

Where didja get the different shape badge from like?

you can get them anywhere, I got mine via LMF but everywhere does badges... it wasn't a specific brand to fit the holes, it just covered them up!

I've seen a nice black Navara with sprayed black Nissan badges, I might do that actually

All the badges on the bootlid are just stuck on, the badge on the bonnet has holes under it, which is why I left the bonnet one on mine. :)

Here`s a pic of the back of my old N16 when I did it.

A mate has orange badges on his clio valver, looks quite cool.

My nissan badge was stuck on, however had been stuck on when paint was fully dried (car had a rear ender before I had it) and left nasty marks. Quick trip to halfturds and a VTS badge later it looks fine :)

I painted the badges and the chrome surround around the custom mesh grille on my last car with dark gunmetal hammerite - everything else shiny had been removed.

Looked good (well, as good as a Daewoo can).
Pics here.

cool... I had a Daewoo Lanos many years ago... it was a V plate & I got it brand new... it lasted well... well until someone drive into me!

right then... the rear badge is coming off asap then... I'll think of a plan to sort the bonnet one!

Well found this thread while searching for how to remove the bonnet badge. There's holes but I'd like to replace the badge for a smaller one (one that's just big enough to go over the holes :D). Had the idea to paint it black too and looks like after reading this thread I'm not the only one with that idea :)

Noticed one side of the badge there's just a spike, but the other side seems to be a clip. Don't want to force it too much incase it breaks :/ Anyone had any luck at least removing the thing?

so all the badges on the boot including the nissan one are just stuck on wat u use to get em off heat gun and some petty for the sticky stuff and some polish ?????

Yup, the boot badges should be easy to remove :) I heard using a heat gun/hair dryer with some dental floss removes them nicely heh. It's just the pesky bonnet badge im having trouble with :rasp:

I did the back end in on mine last year, when the mechanics stuck a new rear door on they took the badges off for me on the back (well... they just didn't glue new ones on). Sweet and thanks muchly.

The way I plan to get rid of the pesky bonnet badge is part of a plan to have the bonnet cut back slightly so its a smooth edge at the front. Then replace the grills etc. But until the money is in the bank ready for that, the badge has to stay. :(

Longley, a bit like our cars over in Australia? The N16 Pulsar's bonnet/grille arangment looks like this. I'd like the get hold of the modified grille like this tho.

Actually does anyone know if this is feasible? Seeing as I'd like to keep my bumper and mod it to fit the grille in. I expect someone who's a dab hand with filler or fibre glass could do it :)

Attached is a quick photoshop of the pulsar's bonnet and standard grille onto my car.

Ya know it didnt spot that but you're right
Well it wouldnt be that chrome grille anyway it'd be the aftermarket one in one of those links I posted  Which hopefully looks a lot less like a rover :O

Yeah, the aftermarket one does look good, but, is it a seperate item, or is it actually part of that bumper?

If it`s all 1 piece, I don`t think it`d look right with Techno Grey, but I could be wrong.

Chop some P2 lights on it, then change the white to grey & see what it looks like. :)

seperate item.

Good idea, I'll try shopping that. Different bumper though.
