When you say the GTi-R is an Almera, it isn't. The GTi-R was based on the Nissan Sunny. Also you're even further away with the N16 Almera... You'd be much better off getting an Almera N15 GTi, one currently on eBay for £400 that doesn't need that much work to get it tip top. SR20DE engine and...

What have you connected the blue wire to? You need the yellow, red and black to power the unit. The blue shouldn't be connected as that's a 12V from the unit to the amp to allow it to switch on with the unit. Does the unit power up? as you've only stated no sound.

200sx seats need modification to fit the N15, but not much. Unsure how different the N16 would be...
