My Almera Sport+ feels like a barge when I push it hard in the twisties, looking to improve the handling with a set of Apex 35mm springs so far. Are there any other kits worth considering?

The apex springs are good quality items with the standard struts. I had them on for about 6 months before switching to fully adjustable coilovers and they were ace.
Eibach build quality is excellent but there seems to be some disparity with thier lowering figures. I'd stress it's not only the almera this has been found with.
There's a fair few members with H&R springs on here and they swear by them.
I think as long as you stay clear of the usual tat like spax etc you should be fine.
I'm happy enough to just buy an Apex spring kit but my friend keeps advising me to buy a suspension kit. He thinks the OE dampers will be to bouncy for the harder spring but I can't find a full kit anywhere for the almera except coilovers.
I posted a link to a very good How To for installing the Koni struts made it very easy when it came to installing mine. My Konis will be for sale in a couple of weeks.
Cheers for the advice fellas. I think I'm gonna go with a set of Apex springs and see how I get on. Is there anything that needs renewing for when I take the struts off e.g nuts, gaskets, mounts?
I'm gonna leave the suspension upgrade alone for now. I had a spring snap on me last week so I had to fork out £45 and I ain't exactly flush at the moment. H&R springs and KYB shocks sound like the way to go when I get the cash.
fuck buying spring kits run it as standard for a year and save for the coilies either the K-Sport ones, or if you save long enough the KW Variant 1s! SOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!
