N15 GTi Track Car

Can't believe you've got it down to this kerb weight. Thats brill. I'll have to get racing as it looks like the only chance i'll get to witness the fitness!

Few updates: Got a dash mat from Oz to remove the annoying dash glare. Cost about £45 shipped. Looks quite neat ( doesn`t look so light coloured in real life and still needs to `settle`) :

And an updated engine bay pic:

Even without a remap the new engine feels quick

Ian, that bay looks immaculate - 10/10 for that one . . . .

. . . . but what were you thinking, putting bloody carpet on the dash? :thumb2:

Trug

Lol. Functional. I hate being dazzled, and on a track at 120mph its even worse. Not bothered how it looks, and honestly its looks much better in person.....

well i have BC's on and planning on new wishbones and new poly mounts all round... so would bit be a good idea to get the brace.. or just stick with the GTI one?? its alot of money for what it is??

Is it missing the front and rear engine mount and brace?

The engine bay looks so empty compared to my turbo malarkey. Very jealous. Top marks.

In all truth i only bought it to save weight.

i removed it to save more weight...........................

not really it is there, just out of site. You can see the solid front dog bone.

Pah...it still see dashboard, carpets, heaters, centre console and a passenger seat....

You could save another 25kgs

Nah seriously tho bud...i love this car, mainly the inspiration for my car!

Keep up the work dude, i really wanna see this on the track :)

Good work Ian, fingers crossed that the mapping and dyno session goes well for you.

Looking great Ian :thumb:, hope it passes the MOT without a hitch, but I'm sure it will.
