N16 DCi-R

Interesting.. :)
That is quite refreshing to hear, cause I just had an inkling you'd jump on the same bandwagon as many others... The typical story - "we don't have it, or not really allowed to have it, so we want it!" .... It's nice to hear you've stuck with diesel tuning :)

See I've driven a few different small car turbo diesels (between 1.6 - 2.2 litre) - and all bar the the lack of bottom end torque in the 1600cc (fairly characteristic) - I was majorly impressed. After that, all I wanted to was get rid of the sack of shit N/A petrol.. :p

Also a YD25, but that was in a D40... So it doesn't really count for comparison, when it's setup to be a utility, not a swift hatch haha...

But the torque is the key noticeable thing... It's certainly on tap!

I've owned 2 diesels now (an Audi A4 Tdi & now the 2.2 Toyota) & would have to say it's the on-tap torque which really helps on a daily basis. There are the odd occasions when I miss a higher revving petrol, but most of the time I actually prefer the deisel now. If I'd been able to find a very late reg 136 Dci N16, then I'd have bought that instead.

What is the "136" component of that, that you guys keep referring to?

No I don't lol.

I had loads this time last year though! At the moment I only have 1 set, with a 2nd thats been AWOL for a year and half while they get painted by a mate... But when I get 17s I will sell one set of SSRs. Probably keep the Type-Cs for track (if I ever get on there!) and 17s for everything else,

I know been ages!!! lol. he fails, HARD. Tbf he's had some personal issues to deal with.

There were some bargainous gold 17" Rota Boosts on Driftworks a little while back, same time as when James bought his 17" OZs. I nearly bought them and wish I had now!!! Type C replicas basically. Would have done for now. They don't show as sold but I'm not getting a reply from the seller :/

Might have some gold Rays S 05's though ;)

That front bar is amazing work Ed!

I really like your style. You have alot of patience. Bodywork isn't a fun job. I've not long started on my front bar. Not much is done so far, and it'll take time, but your car looks amazing!
