VSpec's N16 DCi

Hey Everyone,

Its been a while but I got my dream in the end. Not the dream 3dr I was after with 3x the mileage but a dream in other ways, being a 2005 with just a mere 34k on the clock (w/full history), had the works inc Parking Sensors, sunroof etc. Turned out to be better then I expected, was thinking of selling it but I've waited to long & heaven knows if theres ever going to be a black 3dr with this spec for sale.

I couldn’t find a reason to complain the price was a bargain, condition was good & family pressure was on to lol, as they weren’t as keen as me in going for the 3dr. Anywhos here it is, standard, then just test fitting the TE37s Rays & My goodness is it in desperate need for some collies. Prob add a to do list later on.

Looks good mate, amazing low mileage. White wheels on black definitely wins and kudos on some JDM specials too.

Now bring it to Japfest this weekend!!

Cheers mate! Darn is it this weekend, besides cars looking bog standard, not started doing anything just yet, its taken me a month to post it up here lol!!!

Ooh right, never been to an event like this before, I've seen loads of threads of members doing new things to there cars & to get them completed before japfest, so I would have felt embarrassed to turn up looking so standard.

Ah if you've read the Japfest thread though is shows how it's more about the members than the cars :) Come along mate and meet a few fellow Almera owners

Car looks sweet mate. As Ed said you should come along mate meet the people and as i've been told myself it doesn't matter if the car's standard or a track beast it's about the club and it's members. And besides I'm sure there's a lot of people myself included who would like to meet you and say a thank you on a face to face level for the strut brace buy you organised too :)

No excuses I hope to see you there bud it's been great fun in the past too

Very nice m8 ! Does look gud on white rims ! As Ed says ! Get ya self to jap fest ! You know it makes sense ! Likewise looking forward to meeting everyone ! Have replied to yur PM !

alot of work needed to get the bumper to look right and fit well

Really... I was just concerned mainly about it sitting on to the side brackets, I've got the JDM bonnet coming soon which should make life alot easier other then that not really that much to do to be honest just grill work left & chop the bumper at the bottom before the speed bumps do, & I might trail some R34 Headlights see how that goes that will lessen the gap but give me other work to do somewhere else lol.

Digging the white rims on black paintwork, but that front bumper/splitter just has too much going on for my liking. It would be interesting to see how it looked painted & the indicators in place . . . . . .

yeah really man, look at the 3rd pic and tell me the huge gap next to the lights is a trick of the camera and then tell me the same about the gap below the lights. im all for doing something different that not been done but do it right and if u dont have the skills to do it save up some cash and get a body shop to do it for u otherwise its gonna look gash

Cheers fella, think that's everyone's opinion lol, there will be a lil less going on as soon l will be chopping the bumper because when the collies go on its going to be ridiculously low.

Lol, yes there are huge gaps at the moment, that grill was just to get an image, I will probs buy the N16 open mouth grill & the bumper piece so it sits 100%, but just trailing things for now maybe another way to do it who knows. I don't have the skills but I am going to prepare it as much as I can before I hand it over to the pro's & cheers for the advice mate.
