Yatour in a Tino, and a few questions

Ok guys as we speak one of these is winging its way from china to be here next week so I have some questions for you
1,i have not yet brought the nissan y cable so I take it I can just unplug the cd player if so will I lose any functions?( I don't have sat nav if that helps) and once fitted have no intention of using the single cd player anyway
2,do you know if there are any pre outs on the standard tino head unit? I am hoping to fit an under seat sub as I can not fit one in the boot (as far as I know my hu is made by clarion, the dvd player is) if that helps
3,last but not least does anybody know the speaker size of the speakers in a tino? 2005 1.8 se
Sorry for all the questions guys and thank you for your help

Just a quick update on this after many emails and trying to get the thing to work I received this
Because the engineer told me that this is the compatibility problem ,so we cannot send you a new one ,though we send you a new one ,it cannot work with yours
Gutted don't no the best way to go now so for anybody that is thinking of going down this route make sure it is compatible with your car first.Any one know of another way I can use a usb stick/memory card with me tino?

What problems have you been having with it? It should work just the same in a Tino as it does in the normal Almera!

Hi James when I plug the yatour in to the cable the screen on my tino just alternates between disc 8 track 9 or disc 5 track 14 and that is when there are no media plugged in to the yatour. If I plug in a usb stick the stick lights up but the screen stays the same I can do nothing with it,it will not play anything.Did your almera have a single cd player like mine or were you able to plug yours straight in to the back of your cassette player?

Ok been doing a bit of home work I have emailed a few of the shops that do a similar thing to the yatour and they all say the same they are not compatible with the tino I have no idea what the difference is between mine and a normal almera, so I have been looking at a wireless bluetooth fm transmitter.Any body got any experience of these can you recommend a good one? one last thing if I brought a cd changer that lives under the front seat will that needed to be coded to the car or is it just the head unit that needs to be and are there any other cd changers that will fit?

Dude, I have this problem. When I used a micro sd to usb adapter i got the jumping numbers but when I used a normal sd card (and not usb stick) i get jumping numbers but it settles on some randome track but then I can choose the disc/track like it is intended to. I am upset that I can't use USB but you can't have everything because at the end of the day, it is just a hack. I have found that ity has issues with long MP3s (like DJ sets) and some sd cards work, some don't. There is actually a list to state that some usb flash drives work and others don't.

Just to clarify, the Tino uses the exact same system as the standard Almera, so whatever they're saying about compatibility is a load of rubbish.

It's not the most elegant solution in the world, but it saves you having to understand the entire wiring loom (looking at @edk here ;))
