N16 DCi-R

Me like the other wheels better, thought you was a OEM pro..?
OEM+ is the term. There's very little OEM on my car now anyway.

I like these more the G35 wheels. They're lighter and they fit better too.

I like them a lot, but would need 225 on the fronts and 235 at least on the back, but then it'll rub like a bitch. I've no plans to sell them because if I do ever put arch extensions on...

I know what you mean, but it still looks very oem like expect the yellow fog lights and now Wilwoods (not saying its a bad thing or anything). What j were the g35 rims, and what tyre sizes you going to be running with these new rims (what j are they).

G35 were Front 7.5J ET30, Rear 8J ET33. 205/45 all round. Both looked a little stretched. Could have evened out the rear with 215, to match the front, but ideally it would be as I said before with 225 on the front, but it was rubbing already.

These new ones are all 7J ET40. Running 205/45 for now, but will put 215/45 when they wear out. I'm also putting 5mm spacer on the front and 2JR 10mm slip on hubcentric with extended studs on the rear. So will be 7J ET35 front, 7J ET30 rear. Should be perfect, just far enough out without rubbing.

Fucking hell Ed, have you had time to do anything BUT your car over the past couple of weeks? Serious progress. Great read too!

Really hope it makes it to JAE cos I want to see it!

Drive shaft turned up today. But not until Late late late afternoon. So no time for MOT. A few bits to finished off tomorrow morning as it got dark and had to pack up really. Or mainly, I was fecking knackered.

Fitted Depo headlights.
Wired up Boost gauge, PLX multigauge / EGT probe.
Bled brakes.
Assembled driver's side cv shaft. All went in no problems at all.
Oil drain.

Thank you @Darchitect for lending a hand the last couple of days too :)

Dawn really. Seeing as I've not even turned the key to ignition yet, I might have a long way to go yet. Fingers crossed everything works as it should. If the heating controls dont work, feck it. But if it's interferred with the running of the car, or other mechanical problems crop up (new clutch untested on engine with custom flywheel, untested HLSD on untested custom shaft) then I might be coming in the Primera.

Feck, when was the oil filter last changed? It must be genuine Nissan to have gone that rusty.

Hats off for your hard work and commitment though. It would take mere morals 6 months to achieve what you have done in a few days.
