If no one can advise me how to do this - does anyone know how to find out how to remove it ? Would it be described in a haynes manual?

no probs glad to help keep us informed you may need to disconnect the wires from the heater control for more room and if I have read it right your cd player is a cy460 then it should work there will be a sticker on the cd player as I have said give them a bell with the info they will be able to help

not if you already have a cd changer installed if I remember I think the kit comes with a "y" cable you take the cd changer plug out, plug the grom cable in then plug the cd changer plug in to the other end of the "y" cable the last connection is to the grom unit as I have said give them a ring

Joolz, the connector that you're looking at might also be taken if you've got a TWAT-NAV connected. It'll be the same block that brings the audio and telemetry to/from the head-unit. There's a Y-cable I have seen advertised by other re-sellers of Yatour unit for "splitting" that socket so two devices can be attached.

I don't know how the head-unit would go about deciding which audio stream is selected though, or if the two streams will be "muxed". On my yatour m06, the aux socket is only audible when the USB/SD card isn;t being accessed AND the BTM mutes/pauses every time my (BT connected) phone makes any noise whatsoever.

Searching your favorite online auction site for "Nissan Y Cable" should bring up results. (this is what they look like http://www.vcarlink.com/tp/image/20140107/20140107230753325332.jpg)

Jooolz, I posted a similar message as I have the same dash as yourself. Can you share the method as to how you took it apart please.

Cheers
