2.2 SXE back box

Am I ok to use the back box silencer from the DI models, rather than the one for the SXE?

I can get the silencer for my SXE from Nissan at £180 upwards (with the VAT on top) shipped from Japan.
Other suppliers can get me the back-box for the less powerful 2.2 for about a quarter of this.

Suggestions? anyone know where I can get the proper silencer from?

Tbh you could just get one made up, or get any other one made to fit. Any decent exhaust fabricator could do it.

I've actually just gotten back from my mates place, where we've welded the pipe to the the back-box. she ain;t pretty but she's good enough to not be an MOT fail in a weeks time.
