Incredible amount of work gone into this!
What are you planning on using the car for? Hill climbing?
many thanks! It will be a car for fun = hobby car - for hills, track days and weekend driving

didn´t update last parts which arrived from USA =
CP Pistons, 87mm, 12.5:1 - for more fun
ATI super damper
all new OEM Nissan bearings from Jagy - main, rod, thrust bearings
new head bolts - OEM Nissan /didn´t want ARP as they are not in correct length for SR20/
87mm SR20VE metal head gasket by Mazworx
ARP rod bolts
Mazworx SR20 valve cover hardware kit
Mazworx SR20 exhaust studs kit

engine block is already drilled and honed using a SR20 torque plate. We are porting the head and will start to assemble the engine, within the next week.

That looks fantastic, it's really good to see people going to great lengths for these cars. Exactly how I feel about my Resto project vzr! I'm after doing the bottom end shells on my SR16VE, any idea of where I could get the part numbers from? Thanks a lot

just as a matter of interest, what were the timing events, and measured at what lift?
We spent a lot of time with timing adjustment and finished with these exact numbers:

We used valve clearance:
intake
0.20mm, -+0,05
Exhaust
0.37mm, +-0,05

Timing regarding N1 cams and factory instructions should be 110° intake / 122° exhaust – both on low cam
Timing was quite off when We set as it was from the factory

We finished with: 111° on the intake, 117° on the exhaust side
valves opens +- at the same point as are the factory specs =
Intake Low: Opens at 0deg before TDC, Closes at 40deg After BDC
Exhaust Low: Opens at 64deg before BDC, Closes at 0deg After TDC

What is strange - when We have exactly measured low duration of the cams , it´s differs a lot!

Many thanks to you guys!
and why 18´s? Almera kit car also had 18´s for asphalt competitions... I need much more grip and have 225/40/18 size in the vehicle registration. Those wheels are very light /only 7.2kg per Wheel/ and wrapped in Pirelli Trofeo R tires /225-40-18/

timing events and duration change depending on the valve lift its measured at. nissan measure their duration at 0.04mm or 0.016''. if you measured at a different lift you may of got some different results. probabaly gunna change anyway once on the dyno. top work.
