Hi lads and lasses i have a question my car is bugging the hell out of me every time i accelerate for a long period oftime ie. Overtaking i loose power.
My car is a n16 2.2dci 2004 136bhp now i no its no spring chicken with 148k on the clock but when i drop down a gear to overtake the turbo does its job and gives me the extra power i need for a short time then before i get a chance to get up the revs ready for the next gear it feels like the turbo looses all the power and the car stays at the same speed, but if i lift my foot and then press the throttle again the turbo comes to life and away i go. Every time this happens i get a cold sweat on.
Can anyone please enlighten me if this is normal.
