Uprated rear springs?

Been doing a lot of towing lately with car trailer, and noted that the rear looks a little sagged.
Are there any uprated springs/dampers available or recommended please?

Also, am I likely to harm the auto box when towing? Its an Ni6 1.8 from '04.

The N16 has quite soft suspension anyway, and with that much weight im not really suprised its sagging.

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs and all but the maximum braked towing weight of the N16 is 1200kg (not sure what a Minor weighs). And from memory the nose weight maximum is 110kg.

Maybe have a check on the nose weight to see and also have a look through the brian james spec sheets to see if the towball height on the car is in spec for the trailer. The hitch can be spaced accordingly if not.

Thanks, yes 110kg is a little low for nose weight for this job. Is there no aftermarket stiffer springs available? Standard ones do appear small. Towbar height is within correct range. I guess Almera is not considered a towing wagon.

I havent seen any uprated springs in terms of load capacity for the N16. However the rear spring size could be measured and you may be able to find other springs to suit.

No unfortunately the Almera is more of a weekly shopping run to the supermarket kind of car!
