I have a p2 5 door with p2 gti skirts on. The skirts fit perfect dont knw how but seems that 3 door is the same size as 5 door. Use tigerseal to attach the skirts and 2 self tapping screws on either side of the skirt. You have to sand down a bit rear passenger door parts a tiny bit otherwise...

Make sure you use tigerseal its the best stuff around proper hardcore gluie stuff. Thats what i used to put the skirts on my 5 door.

It was a black phase 1, 3 door, tinted windows, smoked rear lights, black 17's with red surround, big exhaust and stickers on rear arches. It looked absolutely mint. In birmingham , stratford road around 2pm. Is that anyone on here?
