Arrrghhh... N415 FKJ. Just logged on for the 1st time in a couple of years (or more), to find the demise of my old beloved Autech.... Should have kept that car. :-(
God, I wish I'd never sold that car... lol
My new (V-reg) carmine Red phII is not nearly as good as T750 MVW.... Come to think of it: I should never have sold my Autech either.... :-(
Hey Matt: Just been looking on the site after a few months away: Very, Very pleased at the commitment and effort you've put in to keeping this old car of mine (and Mrs Psychos') looking so fresh and immaculate: Pleased it has gone to a worthwhile club member... ;-)
Looks like this car will...
Sorry Nate: couldn't resist.... I live in the far North of Scotland, but am an Ozzie too: Lived in Brisbane, Gold Coast & Townsville for a few years.... GET YOURSELF UP THERE! lol
neither: It's the BFV (240 PS) engine. Car has been lightened by 75kg; rear seats removed (factory Quattro Sport version) & front seats replaced with Recaro Pole Position units.
The GTi is still a blast though,m and great fun. :D
Haven't posted on the forum for a long time now... Thought I'd post up a couple o pics o my Trop Green GTi seeing as we just had a busy car cleaning day. The TT is my new baby: A 2006 TT Quattro Sport (lightened and uprated), but build quality just cant cut it against the N15...
Absolutely lovely phase 2: Reminds me of my (now long dead) red phase 2 'T974 HWL'
Must post up a few pics o my Trop Green machine... Haven't posted on here for a while now.....
this one: http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/814583.htm ???
Saw it yesterday too..... never seen this before and assumed someone had a retro-spray job done. Was this a standard nissan colour (not necessarily for a GTi)?
Suits the car tho: Think it looks the bollocks... even if it is a ph2...
Congrats stewarty! A massive trip, but worth it all I'm sure.... Enjoy the Autech: Wish I'd kept my one instead of selling on when I did, but it's got a great owner in sri_alan.
Keep the AOC updated!
Hey 'Insert'; why don't you introduce yourself to the club properly...?
Post up on the Newbie thread @ http://www.almeraownersclub.net/forumdisplay.php?f=51 :D
Hey: just spotted a few (well; three actually) posts by (non-member) 'INSERT'...
Welcome to the AOC & thanks for your posts showing the Almera Rally car in the Turkish (Bursa) rally!
