Must have spotted at least 6 N16 and N15 saloon's in the week I was there. Also spotted a red 'mera 3 door Ph2. Not sure if it was GTi or not. No badges or kit but had a black 3 slat grille.

Lol guy's yeah it was you girv. It was a Ph2 thinking about it.
Craig - I work at Marshall Landrover mate. Until this year I lived there all my life. Where in Rutland are you?
Ivan
Do not use 205/40R17's. I have 215/45R17 uniroyal RS2's on it at the mo'. They are a fantastic tyre but the RS1's I had on before were absolutely awesome!!!
Ivan
Uniroyal Rainsports! They are immense either wet or dry. RS1 is better than 2's. Falken FK452 or 451 are good too and long lasting. Had them on my zed and they lasted 5k miles so far which no other tyre ever has.
Ivan
I've had both cars N15 and N16. The N16 was more reliable and comfy and felt more quality but the N15 is quicker, and better handling although not as well built and less resistant to tin worm. (All IMHO of course).
Ivan
It's b****cks mate dont worry about. I work in a garage and no-one has ever been in or even heard of anyone getting an airbag checked on anything.
Ivan
This would be awesome. One tup on the rear window though. Just buy a sliding window and frame out of a hilux/navara/defender pickup/etc. and just get the rear bulkhead made up around it. And deffo brace everything before cutting the roof off.
Ivan
Best thing to do is buy a black tidy GTI and have it sprayed white. Should get a tidy job for £800ish. Don't paint the engine bay as a lot of Japanese cars have black engine bays and different colour bodies. Jobs a good'un.
Ivan
I need these mods in my life! Even with my 215's on the front the offset looks rubbish and even worse on the back. The fronts rub very slightly on hard corners or when going over bumps on lock.
Ivan
That's good work man! I have a project car. Nissan 300zx. That needs some rust repair on the rear arches, door bottoms and sills. Would you be up for the challenge? Also I'm only 4 junctions down the M1 from you.
