10 min mod, Clear rear brake light

Dont know if this has been done before but;
i was bored last nite and did a little mod

The high level brake light on the back window, the lense cover is red, well no more guys. :D

1.Remove the light and take off the red lense thats held in by clips.

2.Get a piece of clear perspex, dimpled will reflect the light better.

3.cut it to shape

4.Glue it in place of the red one

5.Get Red bulb or LED one (which iv got)

6.Then put it all back together.

looks better than the red one, cheap as chips to. :cool:
 
Probably looks great on any other car colour than red as on a red mota the red plastic blends in nicely.

Sounds good though.
 
i would have thought the clear plastic would have to be a bit thin to bend it into the right shape ? like said above i guess it depends on the colour of your car weather it will look right
