2 snapped front crossmember bolts

Hi there was changing the clutch and gearbox last weekend and the front cross member bolts snapped inside. One of the last owners must have noticed this before and put a weld on one side a while back and when I went to take of the other side it came so far and just snapped off. Anyone on here had this before? May get a temporary weld done just now. Don't know if I should try welding a bolt on to try unscrew it more or using a tap a die set after drilling the old bolt out? Any ideas would be much appreciated

Cheers.

The same thing happened to me a while back, I had two larger bolts welded on and used some big washers under the nut.

Hi there bit of progress on this now, managed to get a shot of a Bluepoint tap and die set for the weekend thanks to a mate through my auld man. We managed to drill the o/s bolt out and found a matching bolt lying around the drivers side with the weld holding it up didn't fancy it to much we took the bolt size to 11mm with a 1.5 thread instead of 10mm and 1.25, just need to find a bolt that size now. Does anyone know if Nissan parts still sell the proper bolt? Unless its 9.5mm with a 1.25 thread? Got a couple of pictures anyway

Cheers.
