Aerial options?

I need to replace the aerial as the rubber seal is getting a bit thin, the reception is a bit iffy to. Has anyone found a better replacement that improved the reception?
 
Let me know what you find cos mine seems to be pants, the receptions getting pretty sketchy these days :(
 
Mmmmmm cant see the Shark thing picking up much o_O I've always found size is king when it comes to anything to do with aerials
 
Often thought of that, I suppose the ones you see about are amplified ones. I'm not to fussed about the size just getting a better reception. I used to fit tv aerials and size AND location were always a priority, wonder if having the aerial on the back edge of the roof cuts the signal from certain directions?
