I have an Almera 1.4 petrol (1998 reg). I think it is a N-15 but i'm not sure.
Anyways, the battery is completely dead. However, my friend is breaking up a Mazda 626 (2.0 litre petrol, 1998 reg).
Can I take the battery out of the Mazda 626 and use it in my Almera. (obviously it will need to be roughly the same size physically). My question is from an electrical point of view. Will it be ok to use the battery from the Mazda. I don't want to but the battery in the Almera and then find that it fries the electrical/electronics in the Almera. I believe it is a stanadrd 12v car battery.
