Brake Light Fault

Hi

I have 2001 Almera 1.5 Activ and the brake lights have stopped working on the sides, although the middle one above the rear window still works. I have changed both bulbs but they still are not working. I have checked the fuse box next to the battery and there were no issues with this. Does anyone have any ideas what the fault could be and how to fix it?

alright bud, there is another fuse box in the n16 you know the little compartment next to the drivers side door, u can pull this out to reveal another fuse box in here you will find the one that is your 2 back lights also you proberly wont have the lights on chime when u open the door with the lights on and engine off. im quite sure ull find the fuse that you need inside this compartment as i had a simliar problem with mine before Kush-
 
also if you have a test light, check for feeds at the plug on the rear light,
