Bucket Seats

hmmmmmmI used bolts instead of welding. mine are not bucket seats they are reclinding seats.
if you have a
S model your alright
SE, SVE or what ever you then you need to bypass the airbag with the S model Airbag unit. also fitting the seats are not a problem the seat belt is a problem. depending on what seat you get you need to make a braket for the seat belts for the orignal. I was going to make one but it might be unsafe in a crash so I got 3 point harnesses.

Its SXE, so no side or seat airbags! Are your reclining seats "bucket style"? I was hoping to get recliners, but I have my heart set on the bucket seat style..

well you can get hold of the EP3 ones reclining seats but you can adjust the angel of the chair. I don't like the bucket seats where you can't adjust anything. I am sure the SXE had side airbags as the SXE is a higher spec then the SE model. I got a SE and that has airbags in the seat. as for subframes sparco make one but they cost about £150 each. so in the end I brought some metal and made my own. to make my own cost me about 50 quid for the pair

In Ireland, the higher spec is always the lower spec in the UK! Definitley doesnt have side-airbags. Has Air-con and thats about it! No sunroof!

The Honda ep3 seats are a direct fit? And they recline? There the ones Ill be looking at then Id guess!

never knew about ireland lol mate thought it was all the same in the UK

any seats will fit with the correct subframe. if you can make a subframe they will fit.
I am not 100% sure how they are mounted but there is always a way if you want them to fit.

Yeah, kippy country this is!!

Hmm, I'd prefer just to do a direct swap with the seats. I dont really want to comprimise safety with replacing the seats. Might go looking for a specialist in the area!

there are no seats that I know of that will directly fit in there at the moment. best is to buy Sparco subframes and then Sparco seats then you will be 100% safe as they should have the seatbelt bracket built in
