Just found out the N15 is OBD-I. Is OBD-II backwards compatible?

What do you mean ?? Are you asking if an OBD-II reader will work on a N15 ??

Damn, building a CarPC and Centrafuse only supports OBD-II. Nevermind.

You should be able to embed an external app like NissanDataScan and use the consult interface. I did that in Roadrunner when I had it running for a while on a dash mounted touch screen connected to a laptop.
