Your torques seem quite low at 187lbft for the van there Damo? What's the standard rating for the 112? Great power figure and curves for it though.
 
How reliable is the rev sensing/limiting system? I seem to recall some talk about rev counters not being completely accurate.

If set to 6950 with a 5% tolerance possibilities would range from 6600 to 7300.
 
It doesn't matter what the ( uncalibrated ) tacho reads, the ecu the will cut the fuel at 6950rpm.
