gaiter type things, indicator switches

On my 2001 N16 someone has done some work on the indicator and light switches on the steering column. But in doing the repair they've left off the plastic covers or shrouds or whatever you call them that would normally cover the stalks and the holes where they go in the steering column.
two questions.
what are these bits called?
where/how can I get some new ones?

Find an image and circle them in red or something so we know exactly what bits your on about

Steering Column Shrouds.

Upper and lower.

Probably need to go to Nissan unless you find an n16 in a breakers yard.
