Head Unit in N16 Almera

Can anyone here shed some light on how to fit an after market head unit, as i haven't a clue
 
appaerently you can now get a replacement panel to fit the N16 so that it can take a standard headunit, ill find out more details when i get back from max on monday

yeah you can buy a fascia for£22.99 out of halfords and it fits into that thats what ive done anyways
 
what about the steering wheel controls, is it possible to get a adaptor for the standard controls to make them work on a after market head unit :rolleyes:
 
I wish I had waited a few years (yeah right) to get my adaptor kit, cost me over a £100 from nissan when I got it 3 years back.

Getting the facsia off is pretty easy on the Phase 1 (not sure on the phase 2) just pop the lid in the centre console and pull forwards with an even pressure and it slides out, couple of bolts to undo and your good to get you stereo fitted.
