Help finding the datascan port on n16

can anyone point me in the right direction to find my datascan diagnostic port on my N16

If this is the white plug that looks sorta like a SCART socket, it was behind the ashtray, under the push-out cupholders on my Phase 2, iirc!

its not ??? I am sure. I plugged my mates snap on unit in the other day

its near where the clutch is.

My mistake, I was thinking of my old V6 Laguna. :O

Under the steering surround, in the middle, right on the bottom of the driver's side of the dash.

nissan seem to have changed the connector shape my old nissan consult does not fit

I'd guess the N15 Almeras use OBD-I (grey connector I think) while the N16s use OBD-II (white connector I think)?

Yep, N16 is OBD2, the cheapy scan things work on 'em, think they're about £20 off the bay

or just flash the code yourself, all you needs a paper clip!

im tryin to find the link but havin trouble, its pin 9 and 16 iirc. but im still looking
