My passenger side headlight has developed a bit of a problem which is starting to drive me mad. There is a ticking noise when the parking lights are on. I lifted the hood and identified the location of the problem and when I place my hand on it I can physically feel it as it ticks. I've been to two local Nissan Garages and a different mechanic and I'm told that its the the headlight adjuster unit, none of the three could replace it as they all claim the whole headlight needs to be replaced (One of the dealers even said the headlights only come in pairs and wanted €350 no VAT & not fitted!).
I'm hoping to replace the headlights with an aftermarket set so I am reluctant to go buying a standard replacement, I was just wondering if anybody else had encountered a similar problem and if anybody knew how to fix it or if the part can be replaced?
