Install = space issue

I have all the kit from my old micra hanging about in the house, 2 12" subs and a nice amp, but the problem is i always use the boot with having the littlun, so its always got a pushchair in amongst other things.

Can anyone suggest anything that I can do so i can still have the kit installed, but still have full use of the boot?

Was thinkign about possibly sinking a 12" into the spare wheel recess with a grille over it, and mounting the amp somewhere like the back of the seats.

Its either that or do a fully boxed install like the micra had, but make it removeable which will be a complete arse!

Cheers

Neil

put the sub in the wheel well, amps and shit on the boot floor(cover it with cloth or thin mdf to keep cost/weight down) then a false floor over the top of it, perspex windows and stuff, keep the cutouts off the windows, and put them in place when carrying stuff

Made all my own stuff in the micra, just need to keep away from having anything big n bulky as i need the space.... Even just the little bit down the sides are needed

i havent done this just a member on that forum, really helpful with all the tutorials. i wouldnt follow that tutorials exactly for the almera. if you peal back some of the carpet which is really easy there is no backing so i would just rip it back to the bare metal and put sound deadening down.
Also you need a false floor and i would recommend taking the spare wheel out as teh false floor should add an extra few inch in height then.

i may do this in july as i am hoping to do a custom boot job with the help of a few mates in the know how ;)
