Hi

I've just bought a new Alpine head unit for my Almera. All the connectors look okay except for the aerial. The manual talks about needing a J-ISO connector or something. Anyone know what one of these is, and where I can get one. Will Hellfrauds stock them?

Thanks

No, that's not what I need, but the pic will come in handy to show what my car and head unit has. The car aerial lead is the left hand of that connector - the thin prong and the larger exposed outside bit, and the headunit has a "socket" on the back it that looks like the right hand end of that plug. The small prong looks like it would go into the hole in the head unit, but IIRC the outer edge should connect too as a "return" and they won't, as both look like they are supposed to be inside something else, like a metal sleeve or something.

I'd never seen anything like to be honest - glad it's not just me, cos I thought I was being a numptyhaving to post about something as basic as an aerial connector. I'll take some pics later and post them up so you guys can see.

Just downloaded the manual online - it's a JASO antenna plug. Will Google it...

And Google turns out nothing but this, from Maplins. It looks like I need the bottom one of these two:

THanks, Mark.

Got one of these in the end, and it's done the job fine:
