Here's my tuppence-worth Chris.

1. Buy a K&N panel filter (induction kits not worth the money).

2. Get decent lowering springs like H&R or Apex.

3. Custom-made exhaust will give you exactly what you want (size & noise level).

^Paul did you have to quote all the pictures?! :D

Welcome along mate, looks clean :thumb: Love the number plate too....YEE!

spent a few hours this weekend cleaning the engine and engine bay, will post pics soon

well.... alot has happened since i posted these first pictures, so i thought id throw up an update

apologies for how shit the picture is, i took it on my iphone!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Lowered on apex springs (have liams BC coilovers to put on)
the alloys were silver until 2 weeks ago i painted them black
Cupra r front splitter
painted the silver 'tash on the grill black
painted the inside of the headlights matt black
Team Heko wind deflectors
Stainless cat-back exhaust with 4" rolled in tail pipe

still to do:
fit the coilovers
tint spray on the indicators and rear lights
fit smoked side repeaters

i never have time to start messing on with the car, so things get done in big clumps

i will take some more pictures soon and get them uploaded

Really smart mate, good job. Nice that you managed to open the headlights to do that mod too. I've been waiting for someone to try that.

Looking nice mate. Personally I'd say get both new plates and double sided sticky tape them on but make sure you use decent double sided tape.

Looking real good Chris...Cant wait to see it slammed on coilies :)

The headlights are easier to get apart than the indicators...as they are glass they dont melt or crack when trying to them in 2. Have fun with the indicators

yeah, thats why ive only had the headlights done for so long, im thinking about just using tinting spray for the indicators
