It looks a neat enough job, just not so sure about the amount of heat transfer going on with the routing of the coolant pipe ?

It's not too bad at all the top of the engine is no hotter than the pipes ... with the extra piping it is allowing for extra coolant to be used...

With the new set up the car has been running fine

Just need boost now

Got to getg the MOT done first... probably next week or the week after...

And I need to sort out the insurance on both cars this weekend... its going to be expensive

Well update time...
Well was cleaning the car up ready for the MOT... poked a little too hard on the passenger sill... and this happened...

Thanks to Spook and his wonderful welding skills...
That hole turned in to this...

This morning at 10am I took her in for her MOT...
And woo hoo... she passed with flying colours... no advisorys... well happy...

Here is a couple of pics of her in her current condition...

Also thanks to Ian... I have now got a whiteline rear ARB...

You went joking when you said it was tough around the edges
So I have cleaned it up got rid of the flakie paint and quickly brushed on a couple of coats of Hamerite smoothe black...
Will do until I get a load of parts to get powder coated...

Tomorrow I start the rebuild... exhaust needs to go back on... need to drop the front a few MM... fit the rear ARB... and fit the steering rack bushes I got off of liam... and if I get a chance fit the new track rod ends I got off of Fred...

On the to order list...
. New wishbones
. Polly bushes (for the wishbones/ARB drop links/ and ARB supports)
. GTi front ARB drop links

Then to crack on with the charger build...

M14 x 1.5 Spherical Bearings x2 @ £32.04 each

Some 6mm plate from the scrappy and a days work.
Call it £1000 all in

I'd be interested in some N16 wishbones Spook, like Mike's DogIII.

That's all I read when the forum was down. All 5 articles in his Spec-V Sentra and all 7 on suspension and geometry. It's a really good resource.
If you want to post me up some spare 'bones mate I'd be more than happy to have a go at them. Haven't worked out the spindles quite yet though. May be custom machined jobs I think.

As my mera passed its MOT

Just spent the day re fitting all the parts to get her back up to power...

Manifold... downpipe... centre section... and back box
Re set the FPR to 3.5 bar
Fitted the new Whiteline rear ARB
