N16 Raise Hood Guide

Here`s my "How to raise the bonnet" guide:
1) Pull bonnet release under dash.
2) Disengage catch @ front of bonnet.
3) Lift bonnet to head height.
4) Remove the stay bar from its locating clip.
5) Insert stay bar in locating hole in underside of bonnet.
Lowering is the reverse of raising.

oops. I knew I would put hood in one day. I always have to think and change it to bonnet but I am so sleepy at the moment I forgotten about it lolGTi kurt said:
i have heard a lot about this raising bonnet lark, and could someone enlighten me as to why you would want to do it? i dont get it? Is it just for looks or is there a reason?? lol maybe im being dim. lol.
