Just looking about to see what else I can improve on my sr20de N14 Sunny Gti, as I believe it shares may parts with the younger brother and your Almera Gti's

Is there a link to the most pwerful n/a sr20de?

I am having mine at around 170bhp then take it to around 220bhp with NOS.

Anyone else using NOS, or run nearer 170bhp, what mods have you chosen?

My Sunny Gti is totally stripped out (rear, roof linning), sunroof removed and blanked with plastic, big brakes, rear cage, lighweight cobearu front seats and aircraft harnesses, slammed on D2 coilovers, grooved rear brakes, goodridge braided hoses, blitz induction kit, chromed cam cover, custom manifold and exhaust system, custom ecu management, front and rear cusco strut braces, b&m short shifter, 17' compmotive wheels.

Its a work in progress so hoping to have it all completed by start of the spring season.

Before the sunroof, full interior trim etc, the car was timed at 6.7 sec to 60.
So with the removal of nearly 100kg the car should be around 6.1 sec to 60.
When the lsd/ nos and set up are complete should be looking at around 5.4 to 60.
 
You have a big choice of uprated cams to fit in your high port DE. You`ll need some to get good power. Where did you get the cage from?....bolt in or weld?

You need educating in `total strippage`! ;)
 
Uprated Cams tend to loose low end torque, this is not what I am after, I want this car to be an animal 0-100 only.
Fast road/ track car.

Don't want a full strip, ned to keep it road legal, and have the rear speakers.

Depends how much you want to spend. You could try throttle bodies but the management is tricky and expensive, otherwise some mild cams like JWT s3 would give 10-12hp.

Stripping a car doesn`t make it non road legal.

I'd go for JWT S4 camshafts, grade 8 copper plugs and whack in a 100 shot of nitrous.

Best thing would be to have some sort of setup that would automatically back off the timing when you activate the nitrous.
