Newly purchase N16 diesel

Hi guys, I registered on hear ages ago when I owned an N15. Bought an 03 N16 Diesel on the 28th Dec after my neighbour crashed into my P11 and wrote it off!. Was looking round anyways for a more economical car anyways so done me a favour as got top money from Aviva!.
Anyways its an 03 49k 136 model 5 door in a bluey green colour. I was quite surprised how nippy these things are and kind of reminds me of my old Cherry Turbo days!

I knew it wasn't all plain sailing as it developed a squeak on the AC belt which turned out to be a damaged idler bearing. I wasn't happy with the £100 +vat price from Nissan so I got an SKF bearing number 6301RS from a local bearing stockist for £3.60 and got the use of a local garage press.
Next on the list is a full service and to wax oil the sills and underneath......
 
Take a good look at the front crossmember proir to gettin out the waxoil, especially weakend by rust. @ 10 years old if it hasnt been done it could be aching for it....

Cheers buddy will do. Noticed that the radio is struggling to lock onto channels. Had a look at the aerial and I think its wrong. What's the approx. size of an OEM aerial ???
 
Found the problem, the Aerial base was rotten. The alloy had oxidised so bought a new one. Fitted new OEM belts and the squeak has vanished. Didn't want to pay £100+ for an OEM Air con belt adjuster so got one from
FEBEST.EU cost £20 delivered and the bearing is identical to Nissans! Result
