Rear Wipers

I've got a rear wiper that's garbage, doesn't even clean the glass.
Did a search for rear wipers to no avail, well little, something about a Punto Mod.

Do any of you have an idea on the best wipers to get for a replacement?

I'm assuming you've changed the wiper blade recently and it's made no difference?

The rear wiper on my two 2001 N16s have always been fine but I swapped mine for a 2004 version (it's a straight swap, not that expensive either; £27 from Nissan dealer for the arm and blade) which looks nicer that the old 2001 metal arm (pics towards the end of my members ride thread (click the 'Almera Sport' link in my sig). Works great.

p.s. I think the punto mod is for N15s and not N16s??

Yup, N16 rear wiper is mounted the other way round to the N15 & the Phase 2 arm is much nicer than the Phase 1.

I always forget that the rear wiper on the Qashqai comes on when you put it in reverse, & I eventually got so pissed off with it that I unplugged the motor.

I`ve also unplugged the GTi rear motor as I never use them anyway.

You could always do what Leigh (Thekeymaster) has done & replace it with a camera.

I actually use my rear wiper, so I changed the blades and parked it at the bottom, Job done
