secure message on

hi new to forum my names is rob i have just got a Nissan almara tino with a sucure message on green on display panel been told by my local Nissan garage I have to get serial no of radio to get code and want £120 to do this as whole dash has to come out what I want to know is how do I find this no myself regards

Removing the radio doesnt require the whole dash to come out. Only the centre bit. I'm not sure how this is removed on the Tino but if it's the same as the Almera it's just a few screws, and usually starts off with one piece that can be popped off by hand.
