speaker sizes

hi

i got a 99 almera sri. im shopping around for some new speakers for it - i just went and measured them and they were 7 inches - when i look on sites for speakers i can't seem to find a 7 inch option.

am i mistaken? what is meant to be the size of the almera speakers, or do i have to buy an adaptor kit or something? what have you guys done?

Stock is 6x4'' front - component or coaxial

Stock is 6.5'' rear - coaxial

To make the car sound abit better, get some Corsa C speaker adaptor plates from halfords which allows you to fit 17cm speakers in the front

The plastic guard around the rear speakers may need abit of trimming to fit aftermarket 17cm rear speakers

whether you want coaxil or component setup is upto you.. just more work
 
or on the cheap make one out of mdf, halfords and many other places including ebay will sell 6.5" im running these in the front and 6x9's on shelf sounds good
