is the tailgate on a phase 2 the same as a phase 1? mines rusted through n i thought itd be cheaper jus to get a one from a scrappie, also is the soilver colour the same from phase 1 to 2?
 
Not sure on the colour, but the tailgate should be the same.

Hard going finding N16 bits in scrapyards though, was a real PITA when I had my N16.
 
ive found one in backworth, bout 10 mile from me, but its a phase 2 n i didnt wanna waste the journey. was also told bout one in sunderland but its a rear collision (found out when i got there)
 
is the paint code on your almera KYO? I will check the part numbers to see if they are the same when i get the chance today. :)

Part Numbers are different suggesting they are different. the part mumbers are not from the same supersession chain (chain of updated part numbers for the same part) either which would also indicate they are different. although they look the same. this one has me confused a little as the fitment dates do not coincide with the facelift date. Im away to look at a couple of cars!! LOL
