hi there new to the forum but desperate for help , hopefully someone can , we have the usual symptons for timing chain stretching from what i can see on the forum , garage has said engine management light relates to cam/crank sensors being out of sync , oil has being changed twice and flushed once has corrected the error for a while but then the stalling from cold comes back and will restart after a while does seem to be a lack of power lately but no noise coming from the chain from what i can tell , i have read that the tensioner can be checked to tell if the chain has stretched if the tensioner is protruding more than 10mm , i have no manual at present or can find one to download can anyone advise me of how to get to the tensioner easily i believe you take the rocker cover off and the front top cover off above the water pump is this coprrectand can the tensioner be seen from there , thanks for any help in advance we have a 53 plate 1.5s n16 with enginr type QG15DE with about 45,000 on it
cheers
