Unidentified Plug Object - help

Sup guys

I was busy replacing my horn with a dual horn setup, because they don't sell them in singles and the oem one was stoopid soft. Anyway, while I was there I found this plug and can't seem to find where it is suppose to go.

The mech you see in the pic is the bonnet catch.

Any help would be appreciated.


 
its the ambient air temp sensor. Should be a hole for it to push in somewhere but its not massively important.
