which alloys?!

i am having loads of trouble deciding which alloys to get for my gti...this is the car now

just in the middle of lowering it too....

The wheels on it im getting rid of becasue they were on the car when i got it, and i want a change! they have some kerb damage too. here are some ideas i have had.....cant decide between white or some other dark metal or black ones. help! :confused:

I think I like Fuel2 the best *nods*. Think white are a bit too bright, but I guess it could look good with the contrast to the black.
 
yeh every one says im being daring thinking about white....but white alloys are quite popular on black cars..well seems to be. on that post with all the pictures of almeras there were a few black ones with white alloys.....i just dont no :(
 
mate, cobra white without a question. Im getting my wheels powercoated white... and I know it will look the bee's knee's once I get her lowered aswell with me having a Black GTi aswell..

White wheels with the Black car looks amazing dude..

EDIT: what might look even better is the multi spoke option in white...

have to say the ultralites look well nice as do the white ones. not the other two tho!
 
white on black... deffo. d0b0's car looked mint! Looks like this now (just taken).

cheers geezers i think white on black is cool...henry krinkle...why did u sell me it then u fool when u have just gone and bought another gti...is there summit u need to b tellin me??? :P...i also like white inovit st vi's...if u no wot they are like...kinda a copy of rays...?any other ideas i will b vvvvvery greatfull
 
bishwax, a guy on here called Neil SR deals with inovit stuff. he's got some gunmetal ST VI's on his black GTi and it looks the mutts. have a search a few pages deep in the members ride section for his car.
 
cheers yeh have done..his car does look mint. thing is on some sites they say u can get the inovits stvi's in 17" but u really cant only 18" and i dont really want 18s. lil too big for me! so think that idea is out of the window.... :rasp:
 
Cobra White for sure!

I think GTIs (unleass heavily moddded) need an almost retro 80s/90s styled wheel and the shape and colour of the Cobras will give that effect.

Just don't curb them!
