Wipers stop half way on intermittent -N16

When my wipers are on intermittent , they stop half way up the screen for about 2 seconds before carrying to the top, back to the bottom and then starting the cycle again.
Anyone had this before???

It's doing my head in

Had this on an N15, was a relay issue.

Lol sorry but I thought that was a n15 problem. Do they share the same system then??

They aren't the same but they are the same principle. Plus the relay is the cheapest part to try first. Its rarely the actual motor I think.

From what I can see, the relay should be in the engine compartment fuse block. Have a look, you should see it on the lid

From what I can see, it is part of the actual stalk! I found a reference to the rear wiper relay in the left hand side of the bay but no separate relay like N15's have.
