2-tone paint job, yes or no

was thinking about fitting skirts and then having them ,front & rear splitter wing mirrors roof and spoiler sprayed another colour!!??!!
my gti is alaska blue and was thinking maybe yellow or orange for the above
will it look as bad as its now sounding as i write this or not
any chance of a quick photoshop would help or colour scheme suggestions ,cheers
ps i am ready for a barrage of abuse ,so feel free,just thinking out side the box really
pps car may be written of on wednesday so might be buying it back as i have found some body to respray it cheap as chips!!
 
Its good that you have found a cheap respray...
But don`t go for two-tone. There was one like this on the bay recently, it looked wrong.
Mind you, dont you get what you pay for with resprays due to the quality of paint used and level of finish?..I think you should either keep it standard if possible, or go the whole hog like Simcard.

but if ya don't want the same colour again on the respray, I'd choose a colour that isn't a regular Almera colour (like Simcard did).
 
basically, theres a light green saxo round my area with silver bump strips, handles, spoiler and grill. they used to be the same colour as the rest of the car, hes had them sprayed silver. in my opinion it looks god awful. keep it all the same colour dude....

if ya spray bits like spoilers and bumpers it just looks like youve been to the scrappy baught some bits and fitted them without painting them, sort of looks like you couldnt be arsed. looks messy you could enter your car here if you do that.

Post a pic see if anyone can come up with a suggestion plus I know a very good and more importantly a cheap sprayer near me.
Where abouts are you in norfolk? Im near long stratton.
