I am new to this forum so I hope I am posting in the right area.
I have been having some trouble with my 2001 1500 cc Almera. The revs have been very erratic, sometimes sitting at 2500 and some times hunting/fluctuating between 1800 and 2500, other times the revs will drop very low and cut out. Often when driving if I put my foot on the clutch while in motion the cars revs would drop to zero and the car would cut out ( would restart when I let the clutch out with the engine in gear).
I have replaced the throttle body and the sensors on it as well as the MAF sensor (both with second hand units) and although the problem is not a bad the car still cut out ocassionally and also has high revs (no hunting) especially on cold mornings. I have checked the hoses visually for signs of leaking or cracks but could not see any evidence.
Any help would be much appreciated.
