Hope someone may be able to point out what might be causing this.
Over the past 3 months my car has had a history of dropping revs at traffic lights or slowing down then stall but restart without any problem. This has been an extremely fustrating , I have tried what I can to solve this, here's what I've done so far -
New air filter,
New oil,
New oil filter,
New plugs,
New battery,
Throttle body has been cleaned,
MAF cleaned.
At first I mentioned the fault to the main dealer, they cleaned the throttle body, at first I thought the problem had gone. After cleaning the throttle body the car didn't stall for 2 weeks but now it is back again arrrggg...... Having spent over £200 pounds on servicing and parts I want to get this sorted once and for all.
To make things harder to diag, the ECU light does not come on whenever this happens. I had a guy out to check the ECU, this was checked out as working fine. Nissan main dealer also claimed that they checked this as well.
I would greatly appreciate a reply from anyone who has either encounted this fault or know what the problem is.
