bit of a strange spotted thread here, as its not the car i spotted, its the person (i think anyway).

in asda bromborough at about 5.00 today, talking to one of the employees i think, i was the one with flowers in my hand buying chocolates (new job but the old one treated me well for over a year, only fair to get something to say thanks), im 99% certain it was you but i would of looked like a wierdo if it was the wrong person so didnt say anything.

pretty sure i seen you right by spital train station aswell about 20 minutes later on a bike. looked like you, dread locks, little beard and quite tall (think you was tall, long time ago though).

pretty sure your quite a distance from me though, well too far to cycle anyway but it did look a lot like you. . .

I'm not really that tall. 5'10". this bloke sounds like he's got good taste tho :D.
 
must be your slightly taller twin then, really glad i didnt start speaking to him now, would of looked very wierd if i did.

im sure his hair and little goatie beard thing was exactly like yours aswell, will have to try and get a picture to compare without looking like a nutter following him taking pictures :lol:

if you want seat covers i may be able to get you a discount, i now work in halfords on the ripspeed part :lol: , dont worry though, no stickers, spoilers or other items will be going near the almera
 
nah I got lucky with my mera seats. they're decent looking, especially compared to some. cheers tho :D.

I've got loads of random things stuck to my dreads. couple of glass beads, some wooden ones, some wraparound gold/silver strips and a couple of silver bells :D.

Are you sampling the delights of the Parts system? I worked in halfords for 4 yrs in BikeHut. Try and get yourself onto fitting stereos, that way you can skive outside alot.

if you want cheap stuff, hide what you want in the back store or put it in the wrong box etc, then wait till after the stock take. assuming your store was as unorganised as mine was!
 
that bit did confuse me a bit kurt but i was so sure it was him, could have been down here to see someone or something.

alan i havent had chance to sample the "delights" yet, start on saturday, he was talking about "training" me on the interview, the fact i could already fit light bulbs and do wiper blades seem to impress them, and the fact that everything on the almera bar painting has been done by me seemed to help aswell, hopefully ill get plenty of hours and the training, should do me through uni with any luck, think i will enjoy it even if most of the time i will be selling lexus lights and stickers, just hope i get more hours than im starting with quickly and they actually do what they say, only one way to find out i suppose

Is it a well run tidy store? otherwise all i'll say is dont hold your breath for training. Its an alright job like, plenty of shite off customers if its a bad store but also plenty of chances to skive and get paid for nothing.
 
store is only about a year old at the most, got the ripspeed and bikehut bit and it all looks proffesional, even in the back it looked tidy when i had the interview, certainly didnt look unorganised but then i couldnt really have a proper look around. the bloke doing the interview had worked in a few stores and said this was the best one he had worked in, just hope that wasnt to sell the store really.

tbh every time i have been in just about everyone that works there is standing around doing very little, and when they look busy its usually moving a display around, my last job was constant work from 5pm til about 11pm so this looks like the exact opposite, as long as i get paid more than the last job i will be happy
