3 point harness positions?

Hi all...

im thinking about putting harnesses in the the front to complament the subaru seats :D

just wondering if anyones put in 3 point harnasses in to there mota??

or has any sugestions on how to go about putting some in...

I had them, for one day, they were awful. Couldnt lean forward or move at all to see out! Went back to standard after that.
 
ive been in a mera with harnesses, complete ballache, cant reach anything on the dash, very limited movement
 
Just a thought but wouldnt it be possible to have both? so you could use standard for long distance and have the harness when you want?

Or does the standard seatbelts have to come out?
 
Get these, they should hold you without looking an idiot without the limitation of a full harness.

I have 3 point harness. I do not tend to use them to be honest. I have a custom sub frame for my seats. (sides only) when I was getting it done I got 2 extra brackets so I can bolt in the eye bolts and hook the harness onto. as for rear harness I bolted it down to the biggest bolt I can find and the most high tensile one.

Edit: I forgotten to say I also got the standard seat belts
 
got them in mine, along with the standard belts still in

ive put them around the rear upper brace, one side to the runner for the seat belt on the hole furtest back and the other one to where the seat belt clips in, had them go through a couple of mot's, not a problem

i would prefer to keep my rear seats useable so harnases would not be a verry good idea :D

but i realy like the idea of the CG lock... looks like i can get them for about £40 Ea so not too bad and would allow for better restraint and increased stability :D

might have to try them out... :D

i put them in mine for a track day, werent as bad to drive with as i had expected tbh. i used them for about 2 weeks, kept standard belts in so if i was just going somewere id use them, if i was going out for a drive id use the harnesses as it is alot better through the bends with them, doesnt really look stupid with both unless your wearing both, which would clearly be daft.
