hello to all mera owners....just bought a 1.6 glx n reg and im happy as shit on a rag!!!......wld av loved a gti but limited funds...etc etc...anyone know if da twin cam on da mera is like da cams on hondas??? it seems to pull real good over 4000rpm! any clues on replacing front door speakers?...know antwhere that sells collars? hehe many questions.....peace

Welcome. Twin cam just means it has two sets of cams, one for the intake valves and one for the exhaust valves, it's noting like Honda's VTEC. Nissan's version of VTEC is called VVL.

replcing front door speakers is easy, un-do about 6 screws on the door card, pop off the platic door handle surround (inside) and then pop off the arm rest, unclip the window button and the door card will slide up and off. then just put your new speaker in

you might want to make some mdf rings to mount the speaker on, you'll get better sound and can also fit a bigger (deeper) speaker into the hole.
