I've had a few problems in the past with Adrian Flux when I had my '67 beetle. I kept with them, quite pleased I did.

£179 fully comp, notified them of sebring back box, 17" wolfrace alloys, front strut brace, K&N induction and no rise of premium. Have looked into coilovers and still no premium increase :)

I've always been happy with them too. They sponsored the Flamera when i toured with it and now its gone i have a traders policy to drive anything up to £15,000 for only £991.00 ... Bargain!

i have had no issues with them what so ever

they insure me on my vectra (unmodified - cheaper than other companies also)

and they have me insured on my 2ltr micra -
i pay £978 fully comp for the micra - thats including the roll cage - the 2ltr engine conversion - complete body kit - alloys soundsystem etc

inquired about the airbags/hydrolics and this was not going to affect the premium over the coilovers which ive now removed

this only goes up once the turbo is complete - and then it goes up £60

banned once before - 12 points on my liscence (although 6 of them were 5 years ago and can be removed from insurance etc in may)

been with them two years and never had any probs, saying that i've never (touch wood) had to claim so cant say what that like. They are great on mods though.

I was with them last year but ended up with swiftcover this year as they were £30 cheaper and they gave me £50 cash back so I was well chuffed, Adrian Flux defo best if you've modded your motor and they normally cover mods like for like, unlike Directline that quoted me £300 more than adrian flux on my modded focus last year and then the mods weren't even covered, and they wanted an £800 excess as the car was modded theiving jipos!!

I think its time to call Adrian flux as my insurance is due up soon. so far its simple cover by Norwich Union have gave me the best quote. I quoted with Adrian flux last year and they gave me a stupid price of 2k+ when I got it for 940 with Norwich Union. Norwich Union are cheap but they take the piss (problems with my dads car since Nov till now they still have not sorted it out so my dad never made a claim because they was taking the piss)

Anyone tried A-Plan or Sky for insurance ?? Both cover mods like-for-like the same as Flux do.

That's crazy. So 6 points...how much no claims ?? How old ?? At least tripled the power of the original engine. Only £60 extra once the turbo is on...is that any turbo or upto a certain power output ??

Have you got it on limited mileage ??

Have Adrian Flux been approached for club discount?

yep, i got 10% off, which equated to about 90 quid in my first year!

Sky couldnt beat fluxs quote when i renewed in august, there were very close to it though.

4 years no claims at present
23 years old

never mentioned any thing about the power output but in all honesty never checked as to what range this varies at ( G3 turbo is what is planned though) will have this thoroughly checked before it goes back on the road (planned for back end of june/july time as thats when i get my supra)

it is on 7k mileage - but then this hardly gets used (it's been of the road for a year now, (whilst i get time to rebuild the car itself - just never have the time))
